“Great Stay”

Loved this place. 6 of us stayed and there was plenty of room. Really like the layout of the house. There is a nice deck out back and a very large yard. We've stayed at other places in Gearhart and this is head and shoulders above the others. Can't wait to stay here again in the future.

“Great beach house, awesome location!!”

We LOVED the location of this beach home. Trail to the beach, and also only a block away from access to drive on the beach. The house had a lot of amenities I had no idea about. The cupboards are full of cooking spices, pots and pans, utensils. It was awesome! The rooms were great and fit all of our needs! The kids' room was perfect! We will definitely be staying here again.

“Happy Roost”

A return visit proved just as cozy and relaxing as the last. Love the layout of the home - perfect for family and friends. Nice secluded pocket to walk out from to beach, dinner and COFFEE.

“Lovely Stay!”

The house is so well organized and laid out. Just the right size for two families of 4 to kick back and relax. Gearhart was adorable and the beach was great too. We loved our stay at the Chicken House!

“Great Weekend”

We had a great razor clamming weekend at The Chicken House in Gearhart. We were so surprised to find our easy walk to the beach, great trips to downtown Gearhart to find the most amazing Bakery - what a weekend! We wanted for nothing (maybe sharper knives) and totally relaxed in this fun house with great history. The neighbors were nice too! We are already scheduling for next year. A bonus is the number of sand dollars you can find on this beach!
